Red Hat System Administration III is intended for experienced Linux administrators wishing to learn enterprise-level automation techniques through scripting, how to deploy and secure network services, and how to manage other key security features of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Students in this course should have earned their RHCSA or have equivalent skills.
An RHCE is able to perform the following tasks (in addition to tasks associated with RHCSA):
*Control services and daemons
*Manage IPv6 networking
*Configure link aggregation and bridging
*Control network port security
*Manage DNS for servers
*Configure email delivery
*Configure MariaDB databases
*Configuring a system to provide networking services, including HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, NFS, SMB, SMTP, SSH, and NTP
Hiring IT professionals who are certified as RHCEs allows many organizations to increase their ratio of servers to administrators, enabling them to be more cost effective in building out their infrastructures without needing to bring on additional resources.
